ITT Flowtronex Makes Waves with 'Source to Course'
At Big Third Annual Golf Industry Show In Anaheim
DALLAS, Texas – February, 2007

“We’ve raised the bar.”

That was the assessment of ITT Flowtronex General Manager Dan Driscoll following the third annual Golf Industry Show in Anaheim, CA in late February, which attracted more than 23,100 people, including almost 10,000 qualified buyers.

Flowtronex had a commanding presence at the big show, with a 20’ x 80’ exhibit space and multiple products that gave ample credence to the company’s message: “Source to Course.”

The marketing theme succinctly communicates the capability of Flowtronex and its ITT brethren to deliver optimal quality irrigation water from the source to the golf course, employing state-of-the-art electronic control technology, advanced water treatment processes and drawing on more than a quarter century of experience in manufacturing top-quality pump stations.

The ITT stars at the Golf Industry Show were:

  • ITT Flowtronex Master Control Architecture (MCA) systems that enable precise irrigation control and integrated water management via the Internet from virtually any location that has Internet access. It is, essentially, a SCADA system for all water equipment on the golf course. To demonstrate the remote capabilities of MCA by Flowtronex, computers at the show were linked to the irrigation systems of three actual golf courses – two in Texas and one in Florida.
  • ITT Advanced Water Treatment (AWT) MS-22 Reverse Osmosis uses desalination processes to make water pure enough for golf course irrigation.
  • ITT Flowtronex Silent Storm powered by MCA, variable frequency drive pumping system with flow rates ranging from 200 to 4300 gpm and pressures from 50-150 psi.
  • ITT Flowtronex FloMax, variable frequency drive pumping system with flow rates ranging from 200 to 1500 gpm. The Irristorm, available through ITT Lowara, is the international version of the FloMax.
  • ITT Goulds submersible well pumps help bring source water from deep wells to our pump stations.
  • ITT Flygt transfer pumps help transfer water to irrigation systems.
  • ITT Flowtronex ResCom compact, efficient, reliable pump stations designed for both residential and small commercial irrigation systems.
  • ITT Flowtronex Nutrifeed Nutrient Injection Systems, which accurately apply up to three different nutrients with the precision of digital control; available in either stand-alone installations or directly linked through the Irrigation Central Control Computer.
Beyond all the impressive equipment, though, General Manager Dan Driscoll never misses an opportunity to tout his company’s secret weapon: FlowNet – 168 factory-certified technicians around the world who ensure that Flowtronex customers receive the timely and competent service they need to receive maximum benefit from their Flowtronex equipment. FlowNet is unique in the industry and a significant competitive advantage for ITT Flowtronex. We like to say we have authorized service in your area code, if not your zip code.
